HELP WITHOUT HOPE
IS NO HELP AT ALL
Part of what makes Citychurch unique is that we are truly one big family, and we break bread together just like a family should. Since day one our policy has always been to feed people at every event we do. Every Sunday morning service includes breakfast. Every youth night has a dinner planned. We have lunch every day of VBS, and pizza or corndogs at every Popsicles In The Park. Thanksgiving Blessing Boxes, we feed families. When Covid-19 left kids at home without lunch for a year, we started delivering... the list goes on, and we need your help. The price of feeding so many people is high, but we believe that this is incredibly important.
In John 21 Jesus asked Peter "do you love me?" and when Peter replied "of course!" Jesus told him "then feed my sheep".
Why We Feed

Pastor Don Lane Sr.
A long time ago we met a pastor named Don Lane. Don pastored a thriving outreach where he was truly doing the Lord's work. He ministered to the lost, the last, and the least. His ministry focused on reaching out to kids and families in the struggle and his style was completely unique. He and his family had built an incredible ministry from the ground up.
One of the most unique things about what they did was that they fed people at every single event. When asked about it he replied
"Nobody is going to listen to the message of the cross over the sound of their stomach rumbling"
