EDUCATION

We awarded over $9,000 in scholarships to students in 2025! Between graduating seniors and former students who are still going strong and working towards their college degrees.

MENTORING

We strive to be a consistent presence in the children's lives throughout the year. Our volunteers logged over 5,000 hours of serving and we interacted with the kids over 200 days in 2025!

VOLUNTEER  Stories:

- Anthony Cotton

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship and to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Acts 2:42

Citychurch has revolutionized the way I see church and that I approach ministry. I have never seen the heart and hands of Jesus more clearly than I have in the last year volunteering at Citychurch. It reminds me of the early church in Acts! Praying together, breaking bread together, learning together. Simplistic beauty.

For our 17th annual Blessing Boxes our volunteers packed and delivered over 325 boxes full of food for local families in need!

Mya

Mya has been attending Citychurch since she was 11 years old. She graduated in 2023 and has become one of our most dedicated volunteers. This year she got a job, learned to drive, and bought a car! We are so proud of her, and wish her nothing but continued success and blessings!

Bigfoot

One of the sweet moments of 2025. Spring Break VBS always features silly skits performed by our volunteers. This past year Mr. Justin was Bigfoot. The character initially scared the youngest age group. Once they realized Bigfoot was a good guy, they all warmed up to him!
